Audrey had her first trip to the Memphis Zoo last week so I thought I would post a few pictures. My friend Lindsey Tunis was in town visiting us that week, so the three of us went to check out the animals. It was pretty hot morning, but Audrey seemed to enjoy seeing all the creatures she hasn't ever seen before! I am not sure she really knew what she was looking at, but she liked exploring the new environment and having the freedom to walk around. The windows to view the sea lions were my favorite, but Audrey was more cautious and didn't want to stand too close. I can't say I blame her though. The Memphis Zoo itself is actually pretty neat, and I know when Audrey gets a little older it will be fun to take her again and see her reaction.

Well, last night I spent my first night away from Audrey since she was born! I know she is 13 1/2 months, but I just never had the reason to be away until our Women's Retreat this weekend. I admit I was a bit sad to leave her behind, but I knew she was in good care with her Daddy. I really enjoyed the girl time at the retreat which was held here in Memphis at the Olford Ministries Retreat Center. We had some wonderful speakers, worship, fellowship and of course food! I think Audrey barely noticed I was gone with all the fun she had playing around with Dad, but that's good I guess :)
