Well, it's been awhile since I updated our website. We had a wonderful vacation at the beach, and enjoyed the extended time with my family. Audrey really took to the water and sand and I think will definitely be a beach girl. Check out our photos page for some snapshots from our trip.
Audrey is so active these days and spends most of her time walking around the den holding on to various pieces of furniture. All of this cruising is resulting in a lot more tumbles, and I'm hearing more cries these days as she bumps into things on her way down. I am of course aware that this stage is necessary in her develpment, yet it's hard to watch her get banged up all the time. We have removed the sharp and dangerous things from her reach, and are doing our best to provide a safe environment for her to explore, but I have to accept that she will have a number of goose eggs, scrapes and bruises for awhile. They add character, right?
