Um, so packing for a week's vacation at the beach used to be so easy, cause really what do you need when you're at the beach other than a swimsuit and towel? Having a little 9 month old to tote along makes it a whole different ballgame! I seriously think we're gonna have to rent a U-haul to get all our gear down there! I realize that most of what I pack we won't even need, but there is always the off chance that she might get a fever, or break out in a rash, or really want her pink bear, or it might get cold and she would need her sweater . .  or what have you. I want to avoid going to the store and spending more cash, so in the suitcase it goes! And all of this is only for one child - what happens when you have more? yikes! We are excited for our trip to Destin, though. It will be my first trip to the coast in two years, and Jacob's first week off of work since our honeymoon 3 years ago! We cannot wait for Audrey to experience the joy of sand in the toes and sun on the face. I'm looking forward to soaking up one of God's many beautiful creations - the vast expanse of the sea, and seeing the sunset over the horizon. Doesn't get any better than that.
